Terms

The terms, without the fog

What you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and how the waitlist and founding price work.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you visit crewside.ai, join the waitlist, or use Crewside. If you use Crewside for a company, you agree to them on the company's behalf and confirm you are allowed to. You must be at least 18.

2. What Crewside is

Crewside lets a business hire AI staff: assistants with a role, instructions, memory and access to the tools the business chooses to connect. They answer questions, prepare work and, when allowed, act in connected services.

3. The waitlist and the founding price

Joining the waitlist is free and does not create an account or a charge. We let companies in over time, roughly in the order they joined, and may change that order to keep the service reliable.

Waitlist members who pay for their first year of any plan up front, when their place comes up, get 20% off that first year. The offer applies once per company and to the first year only. After that year your plan continues at the regular price unless you change or cancel it.

4. Accounts and your team

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used them. The owner of a company account decides who joins it and what each person may do, and is responsible for their use of Crewside.

5. Plans, credits and billing

Each plan includes a number of people, hires, voice minutes, pictures and monthly credits, as shown on the pricing page. Credits are used as your staff work and reset each month; unused credits do not carry over. When credits run out, your staff stop until the month turns over or you change plans. If work already under way goes past the limit, the difference is taken from the next month's credits.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refunded.

6. Using Crewside responsibly

You agree not to use Crewside to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it
  • send spam, or contact people who have not agreed to hear from you
  • pretend a hire is a human when someone asks, or impersonate a real person
  • store or process health records, payment card numbers or government ID numbers
  • make decisions about someone's credit, employment, housing or legal rights without a person reviewing them
  • try to break into Crewside, other companies' data, or the services it connects to

7. AI makes mistakes

Your staff are AI. They can misunderstand, be out of date, or be confidently wrong. Check anything important before relying on it. Actions that go outside Crewside wait for approval unless you turn that off, and you are responsible for what you approve and for what you allow your staff to do on their own.

8. Your content

What you and your staff create in Crewside belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service for you. We do not use it to train AI models.

9. Other services

Crewside works with services you connect, like Google. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Ending your use

You can delete your company at any time from the company page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

11. Warranties and liability

Crewside is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect. Questions about these terms go through our contact page.
